Digital Wellbeing - Half day program

High performance teams require their managers and professionals to be able to perform at their best, consistently, healthily and sustainably. To do this they need the information, understanding and tools to balance their work with their needs as biological and social beings. Getting this right can improve productivity, creativity, teamwork and create resilience to stress and burnout.

But we have to live and work with technology which brings enormous advantages and possibilities, but it also poses many significant personal and organisational challenges. It’s no surprise that many people struggle to strike a sustainable balance between their online and offline lives, leading to a range of complex issues, such as

• Reduced ability to focus, be creative and productive and are more easily distracted.
• Having no time for essential self-care leading to poorer health and well-being outcomes.
• Feeling less connection with colleagues and other people even though fully connected online.
• Overusing digital devices leading to the buildup of stress, anxiety, and even burnout.

This half day program helps employees and managers develop the essential skills to more effectively manage their focus and attention, be more productive and present with the people around them.

1. Program outline:

  • Pre-workshop alignment, (aimed to better understand the specific challenges and opportunities), plus online assessment.
  • In-person four hour workshop with some online support for up to twenty-five attendees per facilitator
  • Two post workshop follow-ups (1 hour check in and coaching type virtual session)

2. Program Objectives:
The program is designed to achieve three core objectives:

  • Enhance Digital Wellbeing: Provide participants with information and easy to Implement practical strategies to reduce the impact of screen time on their physical and mental health.
  • Promote Attention Management: Provide participants with information and easy to Implement practical strategies to improve focus, creativity, and productivity.
  • Emphasize the importance of human connections: Provide participants with insights into why our connection to others is fundamental to our health and well-being, sense of belonging and happiness, and even our productivity and creativity. With strategies to improve connectedness with others.

3. Optional extras:
• "Walk the Talk" - Awareness session for executive leadership team.
• Individual coaching – 1 to 1 tailored individual coaching sessions for deeper and long-lasting changes.

4. Materials and Resources:
Participants will receive comprehensive handouts, and practical resources to support the in implementing the concepts and skills covered during the program.
